FAQ
Common questions about student placement readiness, preceptor onboarding, and escalation support.
What is a Clinical Snapshot™?
Clinical Snapshot™ is CARE-INF’s structured, student-controlled credentialing and readiness profile. It brings together academic details, compliance documents, clinical exposure summaries, and shareable packet previews so schools, preceptors, and clinical sites see a consistent picture before and during placement.
How does student placement readiness work on CARE-INF?
Students build a credentialing profile, complete readiness checklist items, and submit for program review. Coordinators and administrators verify submissions, assign reviewers or faculty of record, and track status from the admin dashboard. Verified students can export PDFs and use Share Center links where their plan allows.
Do students need admin approval after every update?
First-time submission and resubmissions after rejection go to admin review. If a profile was already verified, saving credentialing updates sends the profile back to Submitted so coordinators can review changes. Snapshot Builder edits after approval revert to draft until the student submits again.
How do preceptors and clinical faculty get started?
Preceptors and clinical faculty partners register through the appropriate portal, complete onboarding where required (including the National Certified Preceptor Program when applicable), and access assigned students from the reviewer dashboard. They can review snapshots, record sign-offs, and use defined escalation pathways.
What are escalation pathways and SLAs?
CARE-INF uses a single-door escalation model with documented timelines. Concerns raised during clinical activity route through structured statuses, outreach logs, and leadership alerts when thresholds are met—so students, preceptors, and programs share accountability without ad hoc messaging.
Is student data FERPA-aligned?
The platform is designed around operational readiness and credentialing documentation—not disclosure of protected academic records. Role-based access, audit trails, and share links with optional controls support FERPA-aware workflows. Schools remain responsible for their own compliance policies.
What is the difference between Standard and Premium Snapshot plans?
Standard covers core snapshot building and verification. Premium adds enhanced layout, additional sections, priority review options, and Share Center features depending on your program configuration. See the Pricing page for current plan details.
How can schools or health systems partner with CARE-INF?
Enterprise and academic partners can request a pilot to align Snapshot requirements, escalation rules, and reporting across sites. Visit Enterprise Partnerships or Request a Demo and our team will follow up.
Where do I get technical or billing help?
Logged-in users can open a support ticket from the student or faculty dashboard. For general inquiries, use the Contact page. Include your C-SID or program name when asking about a specific account.
